Decima

I started writing on Decima in October 2023 – 'Forest Trail' really blew me away. A lot of times – when I write a Model-essay – I start really enthusiastically, but then other galleries grab my attention. It's easier to review a single gallery – usually I just follow the chronology of the pictures and tell you what my thoughts are.

I was actually planning to write more Model-essays in 2024, with any luck I'll get some satisfying results in 2025.

So: what to say about Decima?

Maybe I should start with Checkers comment on 'Peonies':
'I generally don't like to zero in on a single one of a model's attributes, and Decima has so much more to offer that it really seems narrow-minded in her case, but good lord, she does offer one of the finest rear views on MetArt. So firm and round. OOOF.'

So polite. Where other members would say: "Great ass!", Checkers goes: "Finest rear view".

But the choice of words is actually very accurate. Chanel Fenn – a Rylksy model – surprises us because under her teen-like upper body, we find those voluptuous ass-cheeks. If she's wearing jeans and walks across the street, there's no way she can hide her hourglass-shape.

Decima surprises us because she does NOT have an hourglass-shape – and yet, so many people – including myself – are simply in awe because of her rear view. But there's more to this story than just Decima's figure.

Let's go back to Decima's 'Presenting'-set. Her heart seems to be pounding out of her chest. I can almost feel how the cold surface of the glass table touches her bare buttocks and makes her fully aware that she is not wearing any clothes.

What happened? (What follows is a lot of speculation on my part.)

At #58 Decima looks into the lens. She looks nervous, uncertain. Tora has just told her that she has "enough of her front" and if she could get down on her knees with her bare bum above the water in the bathtub?
Decima swallows. She knows her front looks good, but what business do MetArt-members have with what's between her buttocks? She feels uneasy about the whole thing. A vagina is a sex-organ, but her anus is… well the end of her food-processing system.
Tora notices Decima's doubt. She knows Decima will take the position, but she does not like it when a girl is uncertain about her erotic possibilities.

Could it be that during 'Sweet Petals' Decima started to realize: "I like posing nude, I like being flirty, I like behaving oh, so sexual. Yes, this might hurt my social status in the eye of some, but that's THEIR problem."
I hope so, I really, really hope so.
