'My Sweety' is – at the time of this writing – the latest gallery of Marciana. I watched it at the time of its release and I was not too happy about it. I went back to 'Femme' – her last gallery in her 'old' look - and was able to give myself an orgasm about 40 pictures in.

That very same day however I rewatched 'My Sweety' and I could barely understand why I didn't like it the first time. I guess this has a lot to do with 'Call Me' – Marciana's only video for MetArt or SexArt – in which – though she's in her 'new' look – she's at her most adorable and cutest.

On 'Call Me', I wrote:
'What becomes totally clear with this movie is how self-aware Marciana poses and seduces. She knows very well what effect her smiles, her playful shyness and her joyful enthusiasm has on the audience. I suspected this, but it still impressed me a lot.'

Looking back at her earlier galleries, I'm wondering if the above actually counts. It sure as hell is true for 'Call Me' and galleries like 'Leather Look' and 'Floral Scent', but when I look at 'Femme' – released after 'Floral Scent' but probably shot months (or even years) earlier – I see how she's actually turning quite red in #32 and #33. She's posing rather giggly and I imagine how she felt the nervousness all the time in her stomach. This – by the way – does not have to mean that shooting a set like 'Femme' or 'Presenting' was a bad experience for Marciana. Nervousness and true shyness increases the intensity of an explicit nude shoot. When Marciana starts laughing in #48, she has laid on her side for a few pics already but is now – again – instructed to spread her legs. So, if she felt shy, that instruction might produce some adrenaline resulting in her starting to laugh. By #52 she has regained control again. This process of losing and regaining control – of feeling shy and nervous and conquering those feelings – sounds very desirable to me.

In 'Floral Scent' we see a different Marciana. It's the only MetArt-gallery from that specific period. She looks older, but – most importantly – there's no sign of her being nervous at all! This results into her most anal set so far AND she dramatically increases her flirting capabilities (look at #46!)
Where in her first series of sets (everything that far, except 'Champagne Dreams' – which was shot after she had done her first lesbian shoots for Tora (or around that time)) it seemed as if she was following instructions, 'Floral Scent' feels more like a dialogue between her and Tora (and therefore like a dialogue between us and her).
This has – I think – a lot to do with the fact that she had and has done all her shoots with Tora. I'd like to think that her SexArt-debut ('Enlighten' with Paulina – who's 11 years older than Marciana), increased her trust in Tora and made her more at ease in getting nude in front of her.

When you then go to 'Leather Look' – a different, more daring hairstyle and a slightly older, more mature face – Marciana is truly posing like "I'm a strong, independent woman." There's barely any resemblance between a shot like #70 and any shot of – say – 'Grooming'.

This is actually quite moving. When I look at 'Call Me', I do realise that she has actually gained a lot of experience and has become a master in erotic manipulation. There's craftsmanship in her work (or shall I say 'craftswomanship'?)

Which brings me to 'My Sweety' – a set where – very strangely – I sometimes feel like I'm looking at a totally different girl – even though her hairstyle is the same as in 'Call Me' or 'Leather Look'.
In #97 she's offering Tora – and so offering us – her last piece of garment. Then she's looking at us rather shy – as if she's taking us back two years ago.
#99 - #103 are some of the most, well.. contemplating shots I've seen on this site. Like she's saying: "No, that's not who I am anymore. Yes, I can act all cutesy, but there's more to me than that."

There's a certain melancholy in this set. Like in #54: "Is this me? Is this how I want to be remembered? Do I like this? Just because I'm rather good at it, should I then also LOVE it?"
It's as if she's constantly questioning herself. She feels no shame, no shyness, but what exactly DOES she feel? She's totally unreadable in 'My Sweety'. The very imperfect heart she drew on her chest – and smeared from as soon as #68 – could almost be symbolic for her state of mind.

And yes, yes, I know… I'm probably reading way, way too much into all of this.

1 – It will be hard for any model to beat Marciana when it comes to cuteness.

6 – I always believed 'Sly Smile' was Marciana's earliest gallery – because of the different hairstyle. But: the second toe is damaged so it could be her first but at max just a few weeks prior to 'Presenting' and the other seven.

7 – Marciana's shyness is probably just an act, but I think a very authentic act in which she can really trigger to actually feel giggly and "I must be crazy to actually pose in the nude".

8 – Marciana may love posing nude, but has some inhibitions regarding her anus. Her 'Presenting'-set only has four pics in which her anus is visible. 'Grooming' has none.

9 – However in 'Floral Scent' and 'Champagne Dreams' her anal star is stealing the show!

10 – My guess for the chronology: 'Sly Smile', the other seven 'damaged toe'-galleries, 'Out Skating', 'Champagne Dreams', 'Floral Scent' (different hairstyle, purple toenails and she looks slightly older) and 'Leather Look' (totally different look)

11 – She always has a ring around her middle left finger. She's also always wearing earrings – except in 'Out Skating'.

12 – She's a catholic. In all her SexArt-galleries she's wearing a small crucifix.

13 – 'Champagne Dreams' is the only MetArt-gallery in which Marciana has white nails. This gallery shows a very confident Marciana.
